Bournemouth will look to extend their Championship winning streak to three matches on the bounce when they travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool in an important league fixture on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Blackpool have made an inconsistent campaign this season with the side recording 11 wins, eight draws and 11 defeats from 30 matches to collect 41 points, which have left them sitting in 14th with four points outside the top half.
The Tangerines head into the match in a good Championship form as they have not lost in any of their last five league matches picking up three wins and two in the run, but are coming off a 1-1 draw against Coventry in their previous league outing.
Now despite sitting in bottom half Blackpool are just five points off the playoffs berth and will be keen to return to winning ways in the Saturday’s clash as they aim at getting closer to the top-six.
Meanwhile Bournemouth have made a strong campaign this season and are eying a return to the top tier -they currently sit in the second place on 55 points claimed from their 29 matches and are still six points within the summit of the table.
They head into the match in a good mood as they are coming off back-to-back league wins against relegation-threatened Barnsley and Birmingham and Scott Parker will be delighted with the 3-1 win over the Blues as it saw them displace Blackburn from their previous second place.
The Cherries therefore will be looking to bag another positive result in the Saturday’s clash as ty aim at keeping their direct promotion spot while keeping the pressure on league leaders Fulham.
Parker’s side will fancy their chances as they have not lost to their hosts in their last four Championship fixtures claiming three victories and a draw in the run and they will want to keep things this way.
