The top two sides in League Two will go head to head on Saturday, as Barrow host Leyton Orient at the Holker Street in their Matchday 11 tie.
After finishing one place above the relegation zone last season, Barrow have made major improvements at the beginning of the new term, as they have claimed 21 points from their nine matches and currently sit second in the league standings.
They are coming off 2-0 back-to-back victories against Doncaster at home and Newport County at away in League Two. Their victory over Doncaster saw them bounce back from a 3-1 away defeat to Northampton and they will now be keen to extend that run as they look to reduce the gap between them at league leaders Leyton Orient.
Leyton Orient have made a strong campaign this season and they are the only side in League Two that still remain unbeaten after nine fixtures. They have won eight and drawn one of their nine matches and currently sit at the top of the standings with four points above Barrow.
They are coming off a 3-1 win home win over Sutton United in the EFL Trophy tie last Tuesday. The win extended their winning streak to four matches on the bounce in all competitions. They have however won all their last five league matches, keeping clean sheets in the last three.
Richard Wallens’ men are also in a fine away form this season having won three and drawn one of their four matches on the road in League Two. On top of that they have not lost to Barrow in their last eight meetings. Therefore, they should feel confident of extend their strong run on Saturday as they seek to widen the gap at the top of the table.
