Brasileiro Serie A reigning champions Atletico Mineiro will be hoping for the top spot when they welcome Sao Paulo to Governador Magalhaes Pinto stadium for their Matchday 16 tie on Sunday night.
Atletico Mineiro have made an impressive defence to their Brasileiro Serie A title this season with the side claiming 27 points from 15 matches sit third in the league standings, just two points off the summit.

Sao Paulo, meanwhile, have made an inconsistent campaign in the Brasileiro Serie A this season with the side recording five wins, seven draws and three defeats from their 15 matches, to collect 22 points that have left them sitting seventh in the league table.
They however, head into the Sunday’s fixture in a good form having won four and drawn of their last five matches across all competitions, including the 2-1 league success at Atletico Go last weekend, which saw them end a three-match winless run in the top-flight.
They will now be looking to build on their run with a positive result this weekend, as they hope to climb into Copa Libertadores spots in the league standings.
