AEK Larnaca will host Dnipro-1 at the AEK Arena in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League playoffs tie on Thursday night.
AEK Larnaca did well to claim a 2-1 win over Dnipro at away in the first leg of the fixture. They have now have a crucial advantage ahead of the return leg at home, where they will only need a draw to book a place in the group stages of the competition.
Larnaca looked pretty much like the host team last week as they controlled both halves and laid siege to Dnipro-1 for much of the meeting. They might change the strategy on Thursday as they look to avoid counterattacks, but with a home advantage, Kitrinoprasinoi will confident of advancing to group stage.
Dnipro-1 hosted the first leg at the Kosicka Futbalova Arena in Kosice, Slovakia due to the conflict back home and thus will head into the second leg without fully enjoying a home advantage.
