West Ham United vs Chelsea Match Analysis and Prediction

This weekend the Premier League brings you another important London Derby as Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea visit the London Stadium to take on David Moye’s formidable West Ham United on Saturday afternoon with kickoff at 15:30.

West Ham have been impressive this season recording seven wins, three draws and four defeats from their 14 Premier League matches, collecting 24 points, which have left them sitting in the fourth spot in the Premier League standings.

However, the Hammers have managed only one point from their last three league matches and will be determined to put a dent in Chelsea’s ambitions as Moye’s men seek to get back on track following their three-match winless run.

After losing out to Wolves and Man City, many in the in the London Stadium faithfuls expected David Moye’s men would return to winning ways against Brighton at home. West Ham took the lead in that match but allowed the Seagulls to fight back and claim a last-minute equalizer.  The draw was huge blow to Hammers fans who had high expectations from their side but will be behind their team in this important fixture.

Meanwhile Chelsea have made a strong campaign this season with the London giants recording 10 wins, three draws and just one defeat from their 14 league matches collecting 33 points, which have left them sitting at the summit of the Premier League standings.

The Blues responded to their 1-1 draw against Manchester United last weekend with a 2-1 victory against Watford at away in their midweek fixture. The win marked their 12-match unbeaten run across all competitions picking up 10 wins and two draws in the run.

With Manchester City and Liverpool lingering behind them with just one and two points respectively, Tuchel’s men will need to maintain their unbeaten run if they are to keep their status at the summit of the table.
