Wales will be looking to go for another famous European Championship run as they start off their Euro 2021 campaign against the in-form Switzerland on Saturday at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan with kickoff at 16:00.
Wales had a good run in the Euro 2016 knocking out Belgium in the quarter-finals but eventually lost to then cup winners Portugal in the last four. However, the Dragons will be kicking off their Euro 2020 in a slightly above average form as they have won twice, lost twice and drawn once in their last 5 games including the 0-0 draw to Albania at home and 3-0 loss to France at away in the international friendlies last week.
Wales will be looking to bounce back having the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Dan James who still possess enough quality to cause problems to their opponents in the Saturday’s clash.
Meanwhile, the Swiss are in a brilliant form as they have not lost in their last seven matches with a six-match winning streak scoring 19 goals and only conceding four goals in that run. They head into the match off the back of the 7-0 win over Liechtenstein and 2-1 win over USA in the international friendlies last week.
