Wales will still be looking for their first victory in the UEFA Nations League when they welcome Poland to Cardiff City Stadium for their final Group A4 tie on Sunday.
Wales have endured a poor Nations League campaign and are in danger of relegation from League A. The Dragons have failed to win any of their five Group A4 fixtures, losing four and drawing just one in the process.
Now heading into the final day, they sit bottom of the group on just one point, three behind third-placed Poland. Therefore, the Dragons will be aware that only a win on Sunday will help them avoid a relegation to League B.
Poland, on the other hand, have not fared much better than Wales, as they lost their way after opening their campaign positively. They lost 2-0 to Netherlands last time out at home, making it back-to-back defeats in the group.
However, heading into the final day Poland have a better chance of staying in the elite league of the Nations League. They are three points above Wales, but have a lower goal-difference the dragons. Therefore, a defeat on Sunday will see them relegated, but the Polish inly need a draw to stay up.
Poland have however not lost to Wales in their last four meetings and they will draw confidence from that as they seek to end their campaign on a positive note.
