Venezia will be desperate to end their poor run of form in Serie A when they welcome Bologna to Stadio Pierluigi Penzo for their matchday 36 tie on Sunday evening with kickoff at 16:00.
Venezia were left empty-handed again in Serie when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Salernitana last time out. They have now suffered 10 league defeats in a row a run that has seen drop to the bottom of the league and are on the verge of being relegated as they sit seven points adrift of safety with only three matches remaining to end the season.
Anything less than a win for Venezia on Sunday will confirm their relegation, nonetheless they need a tremendous effort and a miracle to stay in the top-flight this season. They claimed a 1-0 win at Bologna in the reverse fixture and will be hoping for a similar result.
Bologna meanwhile, despite drawing three of their last four games they will feel good about themselves having beaten Inter Milan and drawn against Roma in their previous two league fixtures. They currently sit 13th in the standings with 43 points from 35 games, 15 points above the relegation zone.
They therefore have less to play for, for the remainder of the season but considering their form and spirit compared to that of their opponents we believe they will fancy their chances of coming away with all three points.
