Roma look to extend their winning streak in Serie A when they travel to Stadio Friuli to take on Udinese in their Matchday 29 tie on Sunday night with kickoff at 20:00.
Udinese did well to overcome Sampdoria 2-1 in their previous top-flight match at home last Saturday, with goals form Gerard Deulofeu and Destiny Udogie ending Bianconeri’s three-match winless run in Serie A.
They remain in 14th spot, with 29 points from 26 matches, but are now seven points above the relegation zone with a game in hand on the 18th-placed Venezia. They will be looking to build on their last win as they seek to keep climbing away from the drop zone.
In their way though, stands Roma who they have lost to in 15 of their last 17 encounters. Roma are also currently in a good mood having won their last three games in a row across all competitions, recording a 1-0 win against both Spezia and Atalanta in Serie A, before overcoming Vitesse with the similar score line in Europa Conference League.
They have now lost just one of their last nine games across all competitions while have not lost in their last seven Serie A matches. As a result their now sit sixth level on 47 points with the fifth-placed Atalanta while are six points outside the top-four places.
They will be looking to continue their run to boost their Champions League finish hopes and will fancy their chances having not lost to Udinese in their last six Serie A matches, claiming maximum points in six matches.
