Inter Milan will look to get their title push back on track when they travel to Stadio Friuli to take on Udinese in their Serie A Matchday 35 tie on Sunday night with kickoff at 19:00.
Udinese come into the match on the back of a rampant 4-0 win over Fiorentina at away last Wednesday night in Serie A. the win summed up their recent form as they have now claimed four victories from their last six Serie A matches, picking up a draw and a defeat in the run.
They currently sit 12th in the standings with three points behind 10th-placed Sassuolo and with four matches remaining Udinese have a chance of finishing in the top-half of the table. They will therefore look to extend their positive run and they certainly pose a tricky and risky opponent for Inter here.
Inter Milan stumbled in their title race as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Bologna last Wednesday. They are now playing catch-up in the title race as they sit two points behind their city rivals AC Milan with four matches remaining.
The defeat ended their five winning streak across all competitions and they simply cannot afford anymore slip-ups, and they need to win all their remaining four matches and hope that Milan will slip-up for them to retain their Scudetto.
Inter are unbeaten against Udinese in their last eight meetings claiming six wins in the run, including the 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture earlier this season, and thus should be confident heading into the match.
