Udinese will host Inter Milan at the Dacia Arena in their Serie A Matchday Seven tie on Sunday afternoon.
Udinese have made a brilliant start to the new Serie A campaign as they have suffered one defeat in their opening six matches. That defeat was a 4-2 loss at AC Milan on the opening weekend and they have not looked back since.
Le Zebrette recorded a 3-1 win over Sassuolo last time out, extending their league winning streak to four matches now and they currently sit fourth on the table, with a chance to climb to the top if results go their way this weekend.
They however, haven’t beaten Inter in their last nine league matches, suffering seven defeats in the run, with three of those coming at Dacia Arena. Therefore, they still have a mountain to climb on Sunday and they need to bring their top game.
Inter, meanwhile, were considered title contenders before the campaign kicked off, but since then they have been far from convincing and currently sit sixth on 12 points from six matches.
They are however still just two points off the top of the table and with the top six taking on each other this weekend Inter have a chance to climb to the top of the table.
They will therefore head into the tie desperate for the three points and having won their last two against Torino and Plzen in Serie A and Champions League respectively, they will fancy their chances to extend that run on Sunday.
