Tottenham continues with their bid for a spot in the Europa League knockout stages when they welcome home Bulgarian giants Ludogrets Razgrad. The match schedules in North London at the new Tottenham stadium on Thursday with kickoff at 11 pm.
Spurs are currently topping their group with six points from a possible nine. On the other hand, Ludogrets sit at the bottom of the table without a point to show for.
The Chosen One is currently flying high with his side at the top of the Premier League. It is not a familiar sight for Spurs gave their recent history. Jose Mourinho spearheaded a tactical masterclass for the North London outfit to put a 2-0 win against rivals Manchester City. Son Heung-Min and Lo Celso found the back of the net to continue the side’s excellent run of form.
Their last win pushed the Lilywhite’s to four unbeaten matches, with Tottenham coming out on top in nine of their last 11 fixtures domestically and Europe. However, it remains too soon for the Chosen One to wrap their qualification for Europa League knockout stages.
The hopes for a spot in the knockout stages remain shuttered for Stanislav Genchev’s side. The side recently suffered a defeat at Antwerp before coming on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller against Linz despite a hat-trick by Elvis Manu.
