Both Torino and Venezia will be looking to return to winning ways when they go toe-to-toe in an important Serie A encounter on Saturday night with kickoff at 22:45.
Torino have made an inconsistent campaign this season with club recording nine wins, five draws and nine defeats from their 23 league matches to collect 32 points which have left them sitting in the middle of the table.
Their inconsistency continued last time out when they fell to a dramatic 2-0 loss to Udinese last weekend at away. The defeat has seen them now record two wins, two losses and a draw in the last five matches while ending their three-match unbeaten run.
With now seven points keeping the outside the European places, Torino will be looking to bounce back to winning ways as they aim at climbing closer to the top six and they will fancy their chances as they are in a good home having not lost in their last eight home matches which is a massive confidence booster.
Meanwhile Venezia made an impressive start to life back in the top tier, however, a poor form that has seen them fail to claim three points in any of their last 10 Serie A matches has seen drop down into the 18th spot with seven points above the rock bottom Salernitana.
They are coming off back-to-back defeats against the title contenders Inter (2-1) and Napoli (0-2) and with now two points adrift of safety Venezia will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways as they aim at salvaging their campaign.
