Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English professional football club in, London-England. The team competes in English football's top-flight, the Premier League. Tottenham was founded in 1882, and they play their home matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since April 2019, when it replaced their former home of White Hart Lane.
Ownership
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. became a limited company owned by Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Company Ltd. The company shares were issued to the public upon the club's formation to raise capital. However, a few notable families and individuals, such as Richardson and the Bearman families, Irving Scholar, Terry Venables, Alan Sugar, and ENIC International Ltd. Tottenham Hotspur, confirmed that they had enlisted shares from the stock market and public to private ownership.
Stadium
Tottenham Hotspur played their early matches on public land at the Park Lane end of Tottenham Marshes. They rented Northumberland Park due to growing numbers of fans in 1888 -18999 when they bought White Hart Lane grounds that has been renovated and expanded over time. The club later announced a plan to build a new stadium north of the existing White Hart Lane stadium in October 2008.
Colors, Badge, and Kit Sponsorship
Tottenham's colors have changed from navy blue and white shorts and quartered navy blue and white shirts to white shirts and blue shorts over different seasons. Their colors have been changing over time, but blue and white have always been dominant.
Tottenham Hotspur logo has evolved from a cockerel over time to finally settling for a shield around the modern, more elegant cockerel standing on an old-time football logo.
AIA has been the main shirt sponsor for this club since 2014; however, other companies like Umbro, Under Armour, Holsten, and Thomson have partnered with Tottenham at different times as well.

Tottenham has a lot of supporters in the United Kingdom and is among the most supported clubs in the Premier League. They have had the ninth average attendances for the 2008–2009 Premier League season and 11th for all Premier League seasons.
Tottenham fans have rivalries with several clubs, mainly within London. The fiercest of these rivalries is with north London rivals Arsenal. The feud began in 1913 when they moved to Arsenal Stadium, and this rivalry got intense when Arsenal was promoted to the First Division, taking Tottenham's place.
Club honors
Tottenham was the first club in the 20th century to achieve the League and F.A. Cup Double, winning both competitions in the 1960/1961 season after successfully defending the F.A. Cup in 1962. In 1963 they became the first British club to win a UEFA Club competition – the European Cup Winners Cup. Spurs has won two league titles, eight F.A. Cups, four League Cups, and seven F.A. Community Shields. They have won one European Cup Winners Cup and two UEFA Cups in European football.
