Lillestrom will be looking to keep their top spot in the Eliteserien when they visit the Marienlyst Stadion to take on fourth-placed Stromsgodset in their league Matchday 11 tie on Sunday.
Stromsgodset were denied a chance to claim back-to-back victories in the Eliteserien last time out as they fell to a thumping 5-1 defeat at Sarpsborg on Saturday. The humiliating defeat ended their seven-match unbeaten run across all competitions, where they had won four and drawn two in the league.
Hakon Lund’s side are now still four point outside the top-three places and will be determined to bounce back to winnings ways as they seek to stay in touch with the European spots and the title race, although they are some 10 points off the summit.

They will now be looking to maintain their unbeaten run the league and extend their lead with another positive result on Sunday. However, it will not be a walk in the park as Geir Bakke’s side have failed to win at Marienlyst in their last 12 visits, but they are also yet to lose at away, winning two and drawing three. Therefore a draw or an away win should be considered in this clash.
