Stoke City will look to bounce back from their opening day disappointment when they welcome Blackpool to bet365 Stadium for their Championship Matchday y2 tie on Saturday evening.
Stoke City opened the new Championship campaign on the back foot as they fell to a 2-0 away loss to Millwall last weekend, with Charlie Cresswell sealing the deal fo3r the hosts with a brace.
The defeat saw them increase their losing streak to four matches now as they were previous coming off three consecutive defeats in the pre-season.
The Potters who finished 14th last season in the Championship will be looking to bounce back on Saturday as they need to have a good start to the campaign if they are going to challenge for play-off spots this season.
Meanwhile Blackpool, who finished last season 16th, had a positive start to their new Championship campaign as they claimed a 1-0 home victory against Reading.
Blackpool did not also have a much productive pre-season period winning two while suffering three defeats in the five preparation matches, buy they will be looking to build on their opening day victory as they seek a high-flying start to the campaign.
