St Johnstone vs Aberdeen Match Analysis and Prediction

Both St Johnstone and Aberdeen will be looking for their second victory of the 2022/23 Premiership when they lock horns at the McDiarmid Park on Saturday.

Both sides have made slow starts to the new Premiership campaign with both sides winning one of their opening three matches.

They both lost their opening tie with St Johnstone losing 1-0 to Hibernian at home, while Aberdeen fell to a 2-0 away defeat to Celtic. Both side managed to bounce back on the second day though, with the Saints claiming a 2-1 victory at Motherwell, while the Dons claimed an emphatic 4-1 home win over St Mirren.

Both however failed to build on the victories as they suffered defeats last time out with the host falling to a 4-0 away loss to Rangers, while the visitors were on the wrong side of five-goal thrilling tie as they fell to a 3-2 home defeat to  Motherwell.

Both will therefore be looking too bounce back on Saturday as they seek to patch up their inconsistent start to the campaign. Last time the two met the Saints claimed a 1-0 at home and will be hoping for a similar result here.
