Spain and Poland will both be looking to secure all the three points after failing to win in their opening matches of Euro 2020, when they face off at the Estadio de La Cartuja in their Second Group E fixture on Saturday with kickoff at 22:00.
The Saturday’s clash is expected to be an exciting match as both sides need to win to improve their chances of advancing to the knockout stage of the competition.
Spain will be heading into the match off the back of a 0-0 draw to Sweden on Tuesday. The La Roja will need to avoid the same mistakes they made in the Tuesday’s fixture as they had much of the ball but missed many of the chances and opportunities of scoring goals. Thus, Luis Enrique will need to make changes to his squad and try to get his team be more tactical and lethal in front of goal in order to secure a win that they are so mush desperate for.
The La Roja are currently in good run as they have not lost in any of their last eight matches as well as their 13 home matches and will need to build on that as they look to win their fourth European Championship which will make them the most successful side in the history of the tournament.
Poland on the other hand were disappointing and shambolic in their opening match of Euro 2020. They would have fancied their chances of taking all the three points in their opener but the talented Slovakia recorded a 2-1 win leaving Poland in a tough spot.
Lately Poland have been in a disappointing form wining only one match of their last eight matches across all competitions. They head into the match in the bottom spot in the group standings and will be watching closely at what happens between Sweden and Slovakia as they try to take points off Spain to improve their chances of making it to knockouts.
