Slovenia will be looking to move off the bottom of Group B4 when they welcome group leaders Norway to Stozice Stadium for their round five tie on Saturday night.
The two sides have made contrasting campaigns in the UEFA Nations League this season with Slovenia failing to win any of their four matches, picking up two defeats and two draws in the run; while Norway are unbeaten in the opening four matches, winning three and drawing once in the process.
Now, Slovenia sit at the bottom of Group B4 on two points two one points behind third-placed Sweden. Therefore a win on Saturday could see them climb off the bottom and improve their chances of maintaining their League B status.
They are coming off back-to-back draws and they will be looking to build on them as they seek their first win since March this year. They, however, face a tough opponent, Norway, who they have only beaten once in their last 10 encounters.
Norway sit at the top of Group B4 on 10 points, three points above second-placed Serbia. With two matches left to go, Norway only need four points to ensure their promotion to League A of the competition.
They are coming off a 3-2 win over Sweden, which saw them bounce back from the 0-0 draw with their Saturday hosts. They have been in a superb form as they have not lost any of their last six matches across all competitions and they will be looking to maintain that run this weekend.
