SJK vs Haka Match Analysis

SJK will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Haka to Omasp for their Veikkausliiga Matchday 12 tie on Wednesday evening.

SJK continued their inconsistent run in the 2022 Veikkausliiga campaign last time out as they drew 1-1 with Inter Turku on Saturday. They have now gone winless in their last three matches across all competitions, suffering two defeats in the run while have now drawn two and lost six of their 11 league matches this season.

They currently sit in the bottom half, in ninth place on 11 points, four points outside the top championship half. SJK will now be looking to bounce back to winning ways as they seek to remain close to the top-half.

Meanwhile, Haka will enter the Wednesday clash in high spirits following their thrilling 3-2 victory against Mariehamn at home last Saturday. The victory saw Teemu Tainio’s side put an end to their six-game winless run in the Veikkausliiga, while it marked their third win in their last four matches across all competitions.

They should be confident to make it back-to-back triumphs in the league as they seek to climb out of the relegation half of the table. They currently sit seventh in the standings on 14 points; just a point outside the top-half and a win on Wednesday could see them climb into fifth spot.

However, facing SJK at away is not an easy challenge, since the last time they visited the OmaSP Stadion they were beaten 4-0 in Veikkausliiga but their last meeting in the league ended in a share of the spoils and we could see a similar result on Wednesday.
