Shenzhen vs Cangzhou Mighty Loins Match Analysis and Prediction

Shenzhen will be aiming to return to winning ways when they play host to Cangzhou Mighty Lions at the Meixian Tsang Hin-Chi Stadium for their Chinese Super League contest on Friday.

Meanwhile, the visitors will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the new campaign, after picking up five points from their opening three matches.

After winning their two opening league matches against Rongcheng and Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, Shenzhen lost their first game of the season against Meizhou Hakka, going down 2-1 at home on Monday.

A goal from Romain Alessandrini in the 49th minute cancelled out Yang Yilin’s first-half opener, but the visitors eventually clinched all three points when Nebojsa Kosovic scored in the 91st minute.

Shenzhen could have been occupying the top spot on the table had they claimed maximum points, but they now sit fifth at this early stage.

Jang-Soo Lee’s side will be confident of returning to winning ways on Friday, as they face a Cangzhou side whom they have defeated in each of their last three home encounters.

Cangzhou Mighty Lions head to the South East of China unbeaten from their opening three Super League matches, picking up one victory and two draws.

A 2-1 win away against Beijing Guoan on the opening day was followed by successive home stalemates against Meizhou Hakka and Rongcheng, with a goalless draw played out against the latter on Sunday.

Cangzhou were unable to register a single shot on target last time out, so head coach Svetozar Sapuric will be expecting improvements from his side in the final third on Friday.

The Mighty Lions have had plenty of success in scoring against their Friday’s opponents Shenzhen as they have found the net in 10 of their last 11 meetings against them, winning six and drawing two of those games in the process.
