Blackburn Rovers will travel to Bramall Lane on Wednesday to face Sheffield United, who are looking to extend their unbeaten run to nine games.
The visitors need to return to winning ways this week if they are to continue their push for an automatic promotion spot, having picked up just two points from their last four matches.
The Blades enter the contest off the back of a 4-0 victory over Swansea City on Saturday, which lifted them into the playoff positions.
Billy Sharp, George Baldock and Morgan Gibbs-White got on the scoresheet within the first 40 minutes, with Gibbs-White adding his second in the second half.
Apart from defeating Peterborough United in September, that was Sheffield United’s biggest win margin of the season, and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham kept his fourth clean sheet in a row.
Sheffield United have only conceded 11 goals on their own turf this season, meaning that they will be confident about keeping Blackburn at bay on Wednesday, giving them a strong chance of securing another victory.
Blackburn were set to have an encounter with Millwall at Ewood Park on Sunday, but after a late inspection by referee Geoff Eltringham, the match was postponed due to heavy snowfall.
Rovers did not get the chance to return to winning ways after a goalless draw against West Bromwich Albion just over a week ago.
Tony Mowbray’s side have also not scored in their last four outings, and with Sheffield United’s good defensive record at Bramall Lane, that does not bode well with Rovers.
Blackburn have returned 12 less points on the road as they have done so from Ewood Park this season, a record they must improve on.
Rovers won 3-1 over Sheffield United in November, with the goals coming from Ian Poveda, Ben Brereton Diaz and Reda Khadra for the hosts.

Sheffield United news
The trio of David McGoldrick, Rhian Brewster and Jack O’Connell will remain absent from the Blades’ squad in the Wednesday’s game due to injury.
Gibbs-White, who is on loan from Wolves, is in fine form and he is certain to start alongside John Fleck, Sander Berge and Oliver Norwood in midfield.
Blackburn Rovers news
Ben Brereton Diaz will remain sidelined for Blackburn after coming off injured against West Brom, while Tayo Edun, Poveda and Bradley Dack will all be absent through injury.
Centre-back Darragh Lenihan will return after serving his one-match suspension, while Harry Pickering and Khadra are also expected to be named in the starting XI.
Prediction and Odds
With the return of a few key players from suspension and injury for Blackburn, they may be able to bring an attacking threat than they have presented in recent weeks.
However, following an impressive victory at the weekend, the Blades are the favourites for the encounter, and we expect a home win.
