Hebei FC picked up their first win of the season last time out, and they now make a trip to the Puwan Stadium to take on Shangahi Port in round eight of the Chinese Super League on Monday.

On the other hand, the hosts head into the contest unbeaten in 11 of the last 13 meetings between the sides since 2016 and will look to extend their dominance over the visitors.

Shanghai Port will be disappointed after failing to pick up all three points as they could only salvage a point in a 1-1 draw with local rivals Shanghai Shenhua last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Hebei FC finally got their league campaign on track as they claimed a 2-1 victory over Wuhan when the sides met last Thursday.

They were previously on a 16-game winless run across all competitions, picking up three draws and losing 14 matches, including each of their opening six Super League matches.

While Kim Jong-boo’s side will be looking to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time since last July, next up is the challenge of facing an opposing side who are unbeaten in 11 of the last 13 meetings between the sides, picking up nine wins and two draws in the process.

Cherif Ndiaye has now scored in each of his last three matches and he is expected to spearhead the attack once again.
