Sevilla will be looking to continue their positive start with Jorge Sampaoli as manager when they play host to Valencia at Estadio Ramon on Tuesday.
The hosts enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 victory over Mallorca on Saturday, while their visitors were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Elche.
Sevilla dismissed Julen Lopetegui as head coach earlier this month, with Sampaoli returning for a second stint at the helm, having previously been in charge during the 2016-17 campaign.
His first game was the 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao in La Liga on October 8, before his side picked up a point in a 1-1 stalemate away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League three days later.
Sevilla currently sit 13th in the league table, having recorded two wins, three draws and four defeats from their nine matches, and they are already 10 points off the top four, which is a concern even at this stage of the season.
Meanwhile, Valencia head into the contest off the back of a 2-2 draw with Elche on Saturday, which extended their unbeaten run in La Liga to four matches.
A respectable start to the season has left them in sevenh place in the table on 14 points, but they will feel that all three points should have been earned against the league’s basement side, with Gennaro Gattuso’s side showing plenty of positive signs in recent weeks.
After falling behind in the 29th minute, a double from Edinson Cavani late in the first half saw Valencia lead 2-1, but Elche scored the second through Milla in the 65th minute, with the sides eventually sharing the points.
Los Che will play three more matches before the end of the month, following this game with successive home fixtures against Mallorca and Barcelona.

Sevilla news
Sevilla will again be without Jesus Manuel Corona and Karim Rekik on Tuesday through injury, while Fernando remains a fitness doubt for the hosts.
Jesus Navas also had to be replaced at the interval against Mallorca, which could now see Jose Angel Carmona come in for a start against Valencia.
Valencia news
Edinson Cavani had to be replaced at half time against Elche on Saturday, and remains a major doubt for this contest, which will result to Hugo Duro leading the attack for Valencia.
The visitors will be boosted by the return of Marcos Andre and Mouctar Diakhaby, who are both available after serving suspensions.
Predcition and Odds
Both teams will slightly be less of confidence entering this contest, which could lead to a cagey affair on Tusday.
The likely absence of Cavani is a blow for Valencia, but they are not losing matches at the moment, and we are backing Los Che to secure a share of the spoils against an improving Sevilla side.
