Schalke and Shakhtar Donetsk will come head to head in their third friendly fixture of this summer this Friday in Mitersill, Austria with kickoff at 19:00.
Both teams have played two friendlies so far with Schalke 04 winning one and drawing one while Shakhtar won one and lost the other. Schalke hammered Hamborn 14 -0 in their first friendly match and drew 0-0 with Saint Petersburg in their second friendly. Shakhtar on the other hand lost 1-2 to Czestochowa in their first friendly and won 2-1 against Turkgucu Munich.
This will be a stern test for the Royal Blues as Manager Dimitrios Grammozis is still working on finding the right balance and maybe finally win a match against Shakhtar, also getting his side ready for their opening match of the Bundesliga season against Hamburg.
