Sampdoria vs Sassuolo Math Analysis and Prediction

Sampdoria will be looking to put an end to their five-match losing streak across all competitions when they welcome Sassuolo to Liugi Ferraris for an important Serie A fixture on Sunday evening with kickoff at 17:00.

Sampdoria have made a disappointing campaign this season with club recording five wins, five draws and 13 defeats from their 23 matches collecting 20 points which have left them sitting just three points above the relegation zone in the 16^th.

Returning boss Marco Giampaolo failed to put an end to Sampdoria’s losing run as he saw his side succumb to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Spezia at away before the international break. The defeat marked their fifth consecutive loss across all competitions while it extend their winless run to seven matches, picking up just two draws in the process.

The run has seen their ambitions of rising into the European places take a slight hit and they will be looking to get things back on track here and they will fancy their chances coming up against a struggling side that they have not lost to in their last five meetings, claiming three wins in the run.
