Juventus will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to Luigi Ferraris to take on a struggling Sampdoria in their Serie A Matchday 29 tie on Saturday night with kickoff at 20:00.
Sampdoria have made an inconsistent season this campaign and carried on the inconsistency last time out as they fell to 2-1 defeat to Udinese at away last Saturday. They have suffered two consecutive defeats in Serie A while have won just two of their last 11 league matches picking up just two draws while suffering seven defeats in the process.
As a result Sampdoria stand a risk of being pulled back into the relegation scrap as they now sit just three places and four points above the relegation zone, and have played one match more than the 18th-placed Venezia.
They will therefore be looking to return to winning ways as they look to climb further away from the dotted line, but in their ways stands a tough opponent Juventus, who they have already fallen two twice this season.
Following a slow start to the campaign Juventus did well to turn around their fortunes and are now being considered Scudetto dark horses. A run of 15 unbeaten matches, that includes nine victories, has seen them rise into fourth and are now just seven points below the leaders AC Milan, although both have played a match more than the second-placed Inter Milan.
They head into the match in high spirits having won all their last three matches in Serie A and Copa Italia. They will be looking to extend their winning ways as they hope to get close to top two and also a win on Saturday will help boost their morale ahead of the Champions League last-16 second leg tie against Villarreal next week Wednesday at Allianz Stadium.
