Serie A action returns with the champions travelling to Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris to take on one of their favorite opponents Sampdoria who will be looking for their first league win on Sunday afternoon with kickoff at 13:30.
Sampdoria have made a poor start to the season and have struggled to find the form that saw them finish comfortably in mid-table last season. They are without a win this campaign having suffered a 1-0 defeat to AC Millan in their opening match before drawing 0-0 against Sassuolo last time out. Inter are now second in the Serie A standings with six points and a +6-goal difference after just two matches. They are behind Lazio who occupy the top spot with their superior goal difference.
Inter are currently boasting in a brilliant form as they have won all of their seven last matches across all competitions with a three-match winning streak away from home. Also, inter have managed to find the back of the net in their last 21 league matches-their best such run since 2009.
