Salernitana will host Lecce on Friday, the day after Thursday, in Serie A. The visitors still search for their first win since being promoted with kickoff at 9:45 pm.
Even though the Garnets were fortunate to escape with a draw at the Juventus Stadium, their 2-2 result against the home team was by no means undeserved.
Antonio Candreva and Krzysztof Piatek scored two early goals for the visitors, but Bremer’s header six minutes after half time brought new life into Juventus as they went in search of completing a fantastic comeback.
Leonardo Bonucci equalised in injury time before Arkadiusz Milik looked to have won it at the death with an excellent header from a corner kick, but Bonucci was adjudged offside even though he appeared to be interfering with play.
Even so, Milik was shown a second yellow card for taking his shirt off despite having scored the winning goal.
Meanwhile, Lecce have struggled to adapt to the step up in class after winning Serie B last season.
A 1-1 draw at home to fellow newly-promoted outfit Monza on Sunday did at least ensure that they remained outside of the relegation zone, with three draws and three defeats enough to keep them in 17th position heading into the weekend.

Salernitana will be without Federico Fazio on Friday as the former Tottenham Hotspur defender serves a suspension. Norbert Gyomber is the likeliest candidate to replace Fazio in Nicola’s preferred back three, while Ivan Radovanovic, Franck Ribery, Emil Bohinen and Matteo Lovato all remain sidelined until after the international break.

Lecce will also be without Kastriot Dermaku, Mert Cetin and Joel Voelkerling Persson, while Gabriel Strefezza is doubtful due to a muscle injury. If the 59-year-old Baroni decides to make changes in attack, Remi Oudin and Lorenzo Colombo could be an option as they try to find more creativity and goalscoring prowess.
