League One leaders Rotherham United will continue the push for promotion when they host Morecambe on Tuesday.
The visitors, who are currently involved in a relegation battle, will aim to end their five-match winless run when they travel to the New York Stadium.
With nine points separating them from third-placed MK Dons, Rotherham are closing in on an immediate return to the Championship.
Despite being unbeaten in their last six league games, a run of five consecutive League One victories came to an end when the faced title rivals Wigan Athletic in their most recent match.
Wigan took the lead into half time with Stephen Humphry’s opener, but a second-half goal from Oliver Rathbone ensured Rotherham extended their unbeaten home run.
Rotherham have avoided defeat in their previous 18 home encounters in all competitions, and they enter the midweek fixture with the best home record in the division.
The Millers have the best defensive record in the league after conceding just 19 goals in League One, and will be confident of keeping a seventh home league clean sheet of the season.
Meanwhile, Morecambe enter the midweek contest in the relegation zone, with one point separating them from safety.
Morecambe will hope they can end their current winless run sooner rather than later if they want to avoid an immediate return to League Two.
The Shrimps head into the contest with a well-rested squad after Saturday’s match against Shrewsbury Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
In their last league game, Morecambe picked up a point after Jonathan Obika equalised to cancel out Ryan Jackson’s opener leaving the contest with Gillingham to end in a draw.
Having collected just nine points from their 15 league away games this season, Morecambe may doubt their chances of a positive result against league leaders on Tuesday.

Rotherham United news
Rotherham will be without the injured duo of Mickel Miller and Rarmani Edmonds-Green. Rathbone returned to the starting lineup for Friday’s game against Wigan, and should retain his place.
Michael Smith is the top scorer for the Millers this season and will start up front on Tuesday, alongside Freddie Ladapo.
Morecambe news
Ryan McLaughlin and Jacob Mensah will still remain absent due to their respective injury issues, but Adam Phillips will retain his place in the midfield after starting the last four games.
Jonathan Obika made a positive impact as a second-half substitute in the most recent fixture, earning him a starting role on Tuesday.
Prediction and Odds
Rotherham enter the Tuesday’s contest on a strong run of form at home, and they are definitely the favourites to take the victory here.
Morecambe have struggled on their travels this season, and this fixture could not be the one in which they can redeem themselves, hence a home win.
