Motherwell, fresh off of back-to-back Scottish Premiership victories, will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games when they head to Ross County on Tuesday with kickoff at 10:45 pm.
The home side will play the visitors for the first time since the turn of the year, with their counterparts sitting six places and 13 points above them in the league.
Scottish Premiership side Motherwell enjoyed a relatively strong first half under manager Graham Alexander, winning 18 points from their opening 20 games and sitting in the fourth spot.
Last season, the Dens Park side earned nine consecutive wins, including back-to-back victories in their final fixtures as they defeated St Johnstone by 2-0. They won thanks to goals from Dean Cornelius and Kevin van Veen.
In the Boxing Day clash between Motherwell and Livingston, Van Veen netted vital goals to help keep Motherwell ahead of Hibernian and Aberdeen.
The Glensmen are focused on avoiding relegation and have welcomed a Ross County side more focussed on steering clear of the threat of relegation this season.
Tuesday’s hosts kicked off the new season in the wrong fashion after failing to pick up a victory from their opening 10 games, earning just three points in the process and sliding towards the foot of the table.
