Both Ross County and Motherwell will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership when they face off at Victoria Park in their Champions Group Matchday 3 tie on Saturday evening with kickoff at 17:00.
The two sides snuck in the Championship Group when the Premiership split but they are both yet to claim a win in their last two second phase matches of the campaign. Ross County opened the second phase of the campaign with 2-0 defeat to Celtic last month on 24 before recording a 0-0 draw against Hearts last weekend.
They now sit fifth in the Championship Group with 41 points, just one points above their Saturday opponents, who have suffered defeats to Rangers (3-1) and Dundee United (1-0) in their opening fixtures of the second phase.
With three matches remaining to go both Ross County and Motherwell cannot challenge for a third place finish and they will only be battling for the fifth spot in the top half group. Ross County has already edged Motherwell twice this season claiming a 3-1 victory at home and a 1-0 at away, and they will look to draw confidence from that.
Also Motherwell are in a poor away form having only claimed two victories in their 17 on the road games, and Ross County will want to capitalize on that weakness.
