Reims will be looking to bounce back from their three-match winless run when they battle Ligue 2 outfit for a place in the quarter-finals at the Stade Auguste Delaune on Saturday night with kickoff at 20:30.
Reims knocked out both Sainte-Anne and Thaon in the third and fourth rounds with a scoreline of 1-0 in both matches and Les Rouges will be looking extend best run so far in Coupe de France since 2011 where they were knocked out by Nice in the quarter-finals.
However, they head into the match in low spirits as they are coming off a crushing 4-0 defeat to Ligue 1 leaders PSG with Marco Verratti, Sergio Ramos and Danilo Pereira getting the goals for Madrid and Wout Faes scored for them an own goal.
The defeat marked their third consecutive winless match in Ligue 1 and they have no scored a single goal in that run. Reims currently sit 14th Ligue 1 standings with five points in the clear and will head into the match trying to revive their form, they desperately need to avoid a relegation battle that they seem to be heading to.
Meanwhile, Bastia began their Coupe de France campaign all the way in the first round where they knocked out Fougeres with a 2-0 victory then proceeded to see out Herbiers in the second round through a penalty shootout they won 4-3. They then beat FC Hauts Lyonnais 3-1 to see them off in the third round before overcoming a Ligue 1 outfit Clermont Foot with a 2-0 in the fourth round.
They will be looking to extend their life in the tournament and they head into the match high spirits having held Ligue 2 leaders to a 0-0 draw last time out and Regis Brouard will be hoping that his side will use the confidence to get through to the next round.
