RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid Match Analysis and Prediction

Real Madrid will be looking for at least a draw to be confirmed as Group F winners when they make a trip to the Red Bull Arena to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The visitors, who re already through to the knockout round, sit top of the section on 10 points, four points ahead of second-placed Leipzig, who are sseking to join the reigning champions in the next stage.

Leipzig have won two and lost two of their four matches in the group to collect six points, leaving them second in the table, one point ahead of third-placed Shakhtar Donetsk.

The German outfit opened their Group F campaign with successive defeats to Shakhtar and Real Madrid, which left them in a very difficult position in terms of reaching the next stage, but they have responded with consecutive victories over Celtic to move onto six points.

Marco Rose’s side will host Real Madrid and then head to Shakhtar in their final two group matches, and they will be determined to navigate their way into the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are already through to the round of 16 of the competition, collecting 10 points from their opening four matches with a record of three wins and one defeat.

Los Blancos defeated Celtic, Leipzig and Shakhtar in their opening three matches in the section but required a last-gasp equaliser from Antonio Rudiger to secure a point against Shakhtar in the away game last time out, with the 1-1 draw enough to seal progression to the knockout rounds.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be confirmed as group winner if they avoid defeat on Tusday, but they would have another chance to secure top spot against Celtic at Bernabeu on November 2 even if Leipzig manage to win at home.
