Rangers will be looking to continue their positive start to the Premiership campaign when they welcome a newly-promoted Kilmarnock to Ibrox for their Matchday two tie on Saturday evening.
Ranger failed to retain the title last season as they finished in the runners-up place four points behind winners Celtic. They however, made the Europa League final and won the Scottish League Cup. They will be aiming for the Premiership title this season and for that they made a good start last weekend beating Livingston 2-1 at away.
They however fell to Union Gilloise 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie in the midweek, and will look to bounce back on Saturday. The Gers are clear favorites in this fixture and we back them to leave up to that expectation.
Meanwhile newly-promoted Kilmarnock made a good start back to the Scottish top flight last weekend, picking up a point after a 1-1 draw with Dundee United at home.
They will want to continue the positive start on Saturday as they hope to retain their Premiership status next season; although we don’t think the new boys have a chance against the Gers at away.
