Rangers will look to continue setting the pace in the race for the title when they welcome a struggling Dundee United to Ibrox on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Rangers have made a brilliant campaign this season under two managers with the club posting 14 wins, three draw and one defeat to collect 45 points that put them five points clear of Celtic at the top of the Premiership standings.
The Gers did not let the managerial transition drag them down, instead they kept they form under the new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst as they have not lost in any match since he replaced Steven Gerrard across all competition.
Rangers head into the match on the back of 2-0 league success against St Johnston at home in their midweek fixture. The win marked their seventh Premiership win in a row following their 2-2 draw against Aberdeen back in October keeping four clean sheets in the run.
They are also in a brilliant home form as they have won in all their last four matches at Ibrox and this should not be an exception. Rangers should be in for a routine win here.
Meanwhile Dundee United made a surprising start to season after the shock appointment of Tam Courts. United were at the top of the league not so long ago, but reality has set in as they will head into the Saturday’s fixture having managed to win just one of their last eight games.
Courts’ side is coming off a three-match losing streak including the disappointing 1-0 defeat to Livingston at home last Saturday. The defeat saw united get booed off the pitch and will be under pressure to put positive results on the board.
Dundee United won in their reverse fixture with hard fought 1-0 success and will be looking to build on that as they hope to retain their four spot.
