Woking vs Oxford Match Analysis & Prediction
16/11/2022 10:45 pm
Woking and Oxford will face off at the Kingfield Stadium in the first round of the FA Cup on Wednesday night following the postponement of their original fixture.
Woking have made an impressive campaign in the National League this season, with the side claiming 36 points from 19 games and currently they sit fourth in the league standings, one point behind third-placed Chesterfield and eight above Boreham Wood.
They picked up a 0-1 win over Boreham at away last time out in the National League, making it four consecutive victories in the league and have now not lost in their last seven games across all competitions.
Turning away their focus to the FA Cup this Wednesday, Woking will want to complement their excellent efforts in the National League with a significant cup run and thus they will head into the clash all guns blazing for a victory.
Meanwhile Oxford have been inconsistent this season in League One, with the side collecting 23 points from 18 fixtures to sit 12th in the league standings.
They picked up a confidence-boosting 4-0 win over Port Vale last time though, extending their unbeaten run to five games now in League One.
They will be looking to extend that run on Wednesday as they look to have a significant cup run to build-up more confidence in League One, where they will be seeking a promotion this season.
