Woking vs Halifax Town Match Analysis & Prediction

25/04/2023 9:45 pm

Fourth-placed Woking will be looking to move into third place in the National League table when the host Halifax Town on Tuesday night.
The visitors, who are set to finish in a midtable position, will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run to eight competitive matches.
Woking bounced back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Notts County to secure a narrow 2-1 home victory over Gateshead at the weekend.
Darren Sarll’s side are already guaranteed to finish in the top seven, but they still have the chance to advance straight to the playoff semi-finals if they can finish in third place, which is currently occupied by Chesterfield.
Woking will move abover Chesterfield if they can claimed all three points on Tuesday, and they will be confident of doing just that after beating Halifax 4-0 when the two sides met in October.
Meanwhile, Halifax are currently sitting in 13th place, and they will be looking to move into the top half of the table in their final two matches.
They will also be out to extend their seven-game unbeaten run, as they build up to next month’s FA Trophy final against Gateshead at Wembley.
Chris Millington’s side have tended to struggle on their travels in the National League this season, having won just four of their 22 away league matches, but they will be hoping their final away game of the season can produce a victory.
Woking vs. Halifax Town Head to head
In the 15 previous meetings between these two teams, Woking have claimed six victories while Halifax have won four, and they have drawn in five. Halifax have scored 16 goals and conceded 24 in the process.
