Both Volos and Lamia will be looking to return to winning ways when they face off at the Panthessaliko in their Greece Super League Matchday 24 tie on Friday night.
Volos lost 2-0 to Panathinaikos at away last time out, ending their back-to-back wins in the league. The defeat left them fifth where they sit on 35 points, 12 points behind PAOK in fourth and one above Aris in sixth.
They will look to quickly bounce back on Friday as they seek to keep their place in the standings and hopefully reduce the gap between themselves and PAOK. A fixture against a struggling bottom of the league, Lamia, will be perfect for Konstantinos Bratsos’ side to get back on track.
Lamia have had a difficult time in the Greece Super League, with the side winning just once in their 23 matches and currently sit bottom f the table , three points behind 12th-placed Ionikos.
They will be desperate for their second league win this weekend, but having lost all their four matches confidence should be really low at the camp.
