Ukraine vs England Match Analysis & Prediction

09/09/2023 7:00 pm

Ukraine will host England at the Tarczyński Arena in their latest Euro 2024 Qualifier fixture on Saturday evening.
England began their campaign with an eye-catching 2-1 win over Italy in Naples before earning an efficient 2-0 win over Ukraine at Webley just three days later
The Three Lions have since recorded landslide 4-0 and 7-0 wins over both Malta and North Macedonia respectively to put themselves in pole position at the summit of the Group C standings. They will now look to put even more daylight between themselves and the chasing pack by claiming top honours against Ukraine this weekend.
After starting their own quest to qualify with the aforementioned 2-0 loss to England, Sergiy Rebrov’s side went on to stage a dramatic second-half comeback to beat North Macedonia 3-2.
The Blue and Yellow followed up on that success with a laboured to a 1-0 win over minnows Malta, a victory that saw them move into second place in the pool in the process.
Ukraine vs. England Head to head
Both sides have met in eight encounters since 2004 with England claiming five victories, while Ukraine have won once and there have been two draws.
