11/12/2022 5:00 pm

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies will be looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat in the Women’s Super League when they welcome West Ham United Women to Brisbane Road on Sunday.
While the hosts are currently sitting in seventh place, West Ham are three points better off in sixth spot, although the Hammers have lost three of their last four league matches.
Tottenham kicked off the WSL campaign with three victories from their opening five matches, but since beating Brighton & Hove Albion 8-0, they have lost consecutive league matches.
After suffering a 3-0 defeat to their London rivals Chelsea, Tottenham were edged out by Reading last weekend with an Amy Turner own goal separating the two sides.
The 1-0 loss leaves Rehanne Skinner’s side in the bottom half of the WSL table, but they are three points adrift of West Ham with two games in hand.
The Lilywhites have only played three home matches across all competitions this season, resulting in two victories and one defeat.
With Tottenham set to play West Ham and Everton at Brisbane Road in their final two matches of the calender year, they will hope that they can use home advantage to record a couple of positive results and move up the league standings.
Meanwhile, West Ham had the opportunity to record a third consecutive victory across all competitions when they faced Liverpool last weekend.
After beating Leicester in the WSL and Birmingham City in the League Cup, West Ham would have travelled to Prenton Park in a confident mood, but they suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat.
Ceri Holland and Katie Stengel both found the back of the net in the opening 20 minute to condemn West Ham to their third defeat in their last four WSL games.
As a result, the Hammers have now lost three of their four away matches in the WSL this season, with their only win coming against Aston Villa.
West Ham managed to pick up four points against Tottenham last season, and they have held the Lilywhites to a draw in their last two away encounters.
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies vs. West Ham United Women Head to head
These two teams have previously met on 20 occasions across all competitions, where Tottenham have claimed 10 victories while West Ham have won six, and they have drawn in four. Spurs have scored 32 goals and conceded 23. In their last five meetings, Tottenham have won two, West Ham one with one draw.
