St Louis City vs Dallas Match Analysis & Prediction

31/08/2023 3:30 am

St Louis City will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Western Conference when they host FC Dallas at CITYPARK on Thursday morning in MLS.
The hosts are aiming to avoid back-to-back defeats in the league, while Dallas could make it successive wins with a maximum in Missouri.
St Louis suffered their ninth defeat of the MLS campaign at the weekend, when they were beaten 2-1 at the home of Eastern Conference side Orlando City.
Their Leagues Cup campaign ended after just two matches due to defeats at Columbus Crew and Mexican side Club America, meaning Bradley Carnell’s side had a three-week break before they returned to MLS action with a 6-3 victory over Austin FC.
Dallas returned to MLS action at the weekend with a hard-fought 1-0 victory ay Toyota Stadium against Austin, although it took until the last stages for the three points to be secured.
The Toros have enjoyed a decent run of form in recent times, with their only defeat in their last six matches coming against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami through penalty kicks in the last-16 stage of the League Cup.
Like the majority of MLS teams, Nico Estevez’s side struggle to consistently collect points away from home, having only managed to win two of their 12 league matches so far in 2023.
St Louis City vs. Dallas Head to head
