Solihull Moors vs Woking Match Analysis & Prediction

23/10/2024 9:45 pm

Solihull Moors will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to six competitive matches when they host Woking on Wednesday night.
The hosts are currently sitting in 10th position in the National League standings, while the visitors are five points further back in 18th place.
Solihull have proven to be a tough team to beat in recent weeks, having avoided defeat in each of their previous five matches across all competitions.
They kicked off their unbeaten run with a draw against Dagenham & Redbridge and a win over Oldham Athletic, before they drew 1-1 with Altricham in their FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie.
After playing out another draw in the replay, Andy Whing’s side prevailed in the subsequent penalty shootout to set up a first-round tie against sixth-tier side Maidstone United.
Solihull went on to secure a 4-3 victory in Saturday’s encounter with league leaders Barnet, with Jack Stevens, Bradley Stevenson, Sam Bowen and James Gale all scoring to end a five-game winless home league run.
While Solihull are just two points adrift of the playoffs, Woking are currently sitting four points above the relegation zone after winning four, drawing four and losing six of their 14 league matches this season.
Unfortunately for Woking, they have won just one of their eight competitive matches, with that victory coming in their FA Cup qualifying tie with Slough Town.
After setting up a first-round tie against Cambridge United, Michael Doyle’s side returned to league action with a 3-2 defeat in Saturday’s away encounter with Tamworth.
Goals from Max Dyche and Dale Gorman could not prevent Woking from suffering a narrow defeat which extended their winless run to six league matches.
Woking have also gone five successive matches without an away league victory since beating Ebbsfleet United 3-0 on August 24.
Solihull Moors vs. Woking Head to head
In the previous 13 meetings between these two teams, Solihull have claimed five victories while Woking have won six, and they have drawn in two. Woking have scored 17 goals and conceded 19 in the process.
