Sheffield United vs Tottenham Match Analysis & Prediction

01/03/2023 10:55 pm

Sheffield United, hoping to secure promotion to the Premier League, will face Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Wednesday. The two teams last met in 1957-58 when Spurs beat the Blades 3-0 in round four.
Sheffield United returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Watford at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
A second-half own goal from Ryan Porteous was enough to separate the two sides in a largely uneventful contest. The Blades, still sitting second in the Championship table, have re-established their seven-point cushion over third-placed Middlesbrough, who have played a game more.
Tottenham Hotspur has responded well following disappointing results against Leicester City and AC Milan.
After a 2-0 victory over West Ham United and a home win over Chelsea, Harry Kane increased his goal tally to 268 goals in the Premier League – making him Spurs’ all-time leading scorer.
Tottenham is now preparing for three successive away games in three competitions, starting with Wednesday’s trip to Barnsley.
