The action continues in round 25 of the Turkish Super Lig as Samsunspor play host to Antalyaspor at Samsun Yeni 19 Mayis Stadyumu on Monday night.
Both teams head into the contest looking to bounce back after being eliminated from the Turkish Cup during the week.
Samsunspor’s dreams of cup glory were dashed on Tuesday following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Fatih Karagumruk in the Turkish Cup.
The cup exit compounds Samsunspor’s recent woes as they currently languish in 16th position in the Super Lig after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Galatasaray in their last league game.

Antalyaspor shared a similar fate in the cup, being eliminated by Besiktas in a 2-1 defeat despite taking the lead in the first half.
Their European aspirations also took a hit after a 2-0 defeat to league leaders Fenerbahce last time out. That ended their seven-game unbeaten run across all competitions since the turn of the year, marking their first two-game losing run since October 2023.
Currently seventh in the Super Lig standings with 34 points from 24 matches, Antalyaspor find themselves four points adrift of the Europa Conference League qualification spot currently held by Kasimpasa, who have played a game more at the time of writing.
Back on the road, Sergen Yalcin’s side will be looking to build upon their unbeaten run of three away matches, where they recorded two draws and a win.
