Salford City will be playing host to Port Vale at the Penisula Stadium on Tuesday, as they will be looking to record their fifth concecutive victory in League Two.
Port Vale are also enjoying a fine run of form after avoiding defeat in their last six matches, aiding them take up an automatic promotion place.

After beginning March with three consecutive draws, Salford City move geared up to win their last four matches, including a 2-0 a 2-0 win away to Hartlepool on Saturday.

That positive run of results has helped them take up third position in League Two, but with three other teams level on points with Port Vale, an automatic promotion spot is far from secure.
However, momentum seem to be on the Valiants’ favour, as they followed up a 2-0 home win over Sutton United with a narrow 2-1 victory against Barrow at Holker Street on Saturday.
They now turn their attention to a tough away contest against Salford holding the fourth-best away record in League Two.
