Blackburn will look to make it three consecutive wins when they travel to AESSEAL New York Stadium to take in a struggling Rotherham in their EFL Championship Matchday 27 tie on Saturday afternoon.
Blackburn have have they fair share of inconsistency this season, although generally they will be happy with their campaign so far as they sit third on 42 points from 26 matches, nine points behind second-placed Sheffield United.
They kicked off 2023 in a fashion, claiming a 1-0 win over Cardiff in the Championship before knocking Norwich out of the FA Cup with another 1-0 win. They will be looking to maintain the momentum as they return their focus to the league campaign, where they are seeking a promotion to the Premier League.
Rotherham earned promotion back to the Championship after winning league two, but they seem to be headed directly for League One again after struggling in the second tier this season.

They suffered a 3-0 in the Championship to Millwall at the start of the year, before bowing out of the FA Cup following a 4-1 trashing at Ipswich. They have now not won in their last seven matches in all competitions and to quickly bounce back if they are to avoid returning to the third tier immediately.
