Roma vs Torino Match Analysis & Prediction
13/11/2022 5:00 pm
Roma will look to bounce back to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome Torino to the Stadio Olimpico for their Matchday 15 tie on Sunday evening.
Roma are coming off a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo at away last time out, making it their second winless game in Serie A, while they have now failed to win in three of their last four games.
The run has seen them drop to seventh-place in the league standings, with now two points behind Juventus in fourth and two above eighth-placed Udinese.
Therefore Jose Mourinho’s side will be keen to bounce back on Sunday as they hope into the long World Cup break inside the European places. Last season, Mourinho’s side beat Torino in both fixtures (1-0 at home and 3-0 at away) and they will be hoping for the same this season.
Torino have made an inconsistent campaign so far in Serie A this season, with the side picking up six wins, two draws and six defeats from 14 games and currently sit ninth in the league standings, three points above Salernitana in 11th and seven outside the European places.
The Turin outfits are coming off a 2-0 win over Sampdoria last time out, which saw them bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at Bologna. They will look to make it back to back wins on Sunday as they hope to go into the World Cup break closer to the European spots.
