Real Madrid vs Valencia Match Analysis & Prediction
11/01/2023 10:00 pm
Real Madrid and Valencia will battle for a place in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, when they face in the first semi-final at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday night.
Real Madrid qualified for this stage of this competition by winning the 2022-23 La Liga title, while Valencia are present in the final four due to making last season’s Copa del Rey final.
The Madrid outfits are are the second-most successful side in the Super Cup and are the champions after seeing out Barcelona in the semifinals and Athletic Bilbao last season. Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be looking to retain the trophy this season, but they are coming into the semifinal of a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal and will need to make amends before kickoff.
However, they face a struggling Valencia who have won just one of their last five games across all competitions, losing four in the process including the 1-0 home defeat to Cadiz in La Liga last time out.
Madrid have also beaten Valencia in their three consecutive meetings and should be confident of extending the run on Wednesday night.
