Real Betis vs Getafe Match Analysis & Prediction

After securing their first league win of the season, Real Betis will attempt to claim a second straight victory when they host Getafe at Estadio Benito Villamarin for Wednesday’s La Liga contest.
Real Betis went into the international break without a league victory after they had to settle for just two pints from their opening three matches.
They drew 1-1 with Girona and played out a goalless stalemate with Alaves, before they suffered a 2-0 away defeat to Real Madrid in their final game before the international break.
Following the two-week break, Manuel Pellegrini’s side finally secured their first league win in Friday’s home encounter with newly-promoted Leganes.
Abde Ezzalzouli broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute, before Barcelona loanee Vitor Roque scored his first Betis goal to wrap up a 2-0 home win, moving Los Verdiblancos up to 11th position.
Meanwhile, Getafe are languishing in the relegation zone after picking up three points from their first four matches of the 2024-25 season.
The Azulones found it tough to offer a threat in the final third, having gone three matches without a goal since Christantus Uche scored in a 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao on matchday one.
Jose Bordalas’ side went on to play out successive goalless home draws against Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad, before suffering a 1-0 defeat in Saturday’s away encounter with Sevilla.
As a result of that defeat, Getafe have now gone nine matches without a league victory since posting a 3-1 away win over Almere at the end of April.
